Welcome to Level Legends

Level Legends is a fast-paced action RPG roguelite you can play in your browser or on Telegram. Here is what it is and what this blog will cover.

Level Legends heroes gathered in a dungeon

Level Legends is a fast-paced action RPG roguelite. You fight monster waves, pick upgrades as the run goes on, loot gear and come back for the next battle a little stronger than before. This is the official blog, and this first post is a short tour for anyone who just found the game.

What kind of game is it?

Every battle is a run. You control a hero in an arena, monsters come at you in waves, and from time to time the game offers you a choice of modifiers. Those picks reshape the current run with new stats, attacks, recovery or mechanics that change how you play. Bosses arrive with stronger patterns, and they are very good at exposing builds that only look strong on paper.

When the run ends, the modifiers go away. Your equipment and permanent progression stay. That split is the heart of the game: runs are where you experiment, and your gear is what you carry forward.

The core loop

The loop is easy to explain and takes a while to master.

  1. Fight and adapt. Move, attack, stay out of dangerous zones and choose modifiers that fit what is actually happening on screen.
  2. Loot and build. Equip useful drops and keep the pieces that support the way you like to play.
  3. Return stronger. Improve your hero between battles, then push into harder encounters.

Between battles you also get the Forge. It lets you salvage gear you don't need, upgrade the items you plan to keep, and merge three matching items into one of a higher rarity. A pile of random drops slowly turns into a loadout you chose on purpose.

Where to play

You can play Level Legends in your browser at web.level-legends.app. It also runs as a Telegram Mini App, so you can open it inside Telegram on your phone without a separate download. Pick whichever is closer to hand.

What this blog is for

We'll post news, updates and guides here. Posts will fall into four categories:

  • News: announcements about the game and where to play it.
  • Updates: notes when something in the game changes.
  • Guides: plain explanations of how systems work and how to use them.
  • Dev Diary: a look behind the scenes.

To get things started, we're publishing four guides next to this post. One covers your first runs, one explains the Forge, one walks through equipment and item stats, and one previews dungeons, which are still in development.

If you prefer reference pages to articles, the wiki is the place for that. It covers combat, modifiers, equipment and more, and it is checked against the game code. Balance values can still change between updates, so the wiki is the better source for exact numbers.

That's it for the introduction. Open the game, lose a run or two to a boss, and see you in the next post.
